Terminal Print Station began with a simple need—a need to print a business proposal at the airport.
The idea took shape on the way to catch a flight, when a last-minute request came in for printed copies of a proposal. A quick search revealed something surprising: despite the countless services available inside major airports, there was no simple, reliable way to walk up and print a document without access to a business lounge or help from an airline desk.
We know the world has gone digital. People print far less than they once did, and that isn't going to reverse. But when a hard copy is needed, access to a printer has become less common—not more. For a traveler away from home or the office, that occasional need can quickly become an urgent one.
Airports are filled with vending machines, kiosks, and self-service technology designed around the needs of travelers. We believe document services should be just as accessible.
Our Mission
Terminal Print Station is the first product from GateReady Technologies, a company focused on identifying unmet needs in airports and developing practical technology and self-service solutions to address them.
With Terminal Print Station, that means making convenient, reliable document services available to travelers when and where they need them. But the larger GateReady mission goes beyond printing: to find overlooked problems throughout the airport experience and build smart, scalable solutions around them.
Our Ambition
We believe the combination of passenger traffic, time-sensitive needs, and the growing acceptance of self-service technology creates opportunities for solutions built specifically for the airport environment.
Our ambition is to establish Terminal Print Station across airports nationwide and, ultimately, around the world—while continuing to grow GateReady Technologies into a broader platform for innovative products and services designed for airports and the people who move through them.
